I started working around my parents’ restaurant at the age of 9. Even at that age, I was motivated by my parents’ hard work ethic. I also grew up watching chefs like Julia Child, Jacques Pépin, Justin Wilson, Emeril Lagasse, José Andrés, Rick Bayless, and many more! These world-renowned chefs truly inspired me. However, no chef inspired

I also grew up watching chefs like Julia Child, Jacques Pépin, Justin Wilson, Emeril Lagasse, José Andrés, Rick Bayless, and many more! These world-renowned chefs truly inspired me. However, no chef inspired me more than my mother Santa Cruz. Growing up, I watched her cook great traditional comida Mexicana dishes as well as delicious Tex-Mex. This is what makes us different.
